Kate Ripley

Kate Ripley is a double major in Feminist Studies and Psychological & Brain Sciences, with a minor in Poverty, Inequality, and Social Justice. Right now they’re focused on studying the hows and whys of oppressions and liberations, but they hope to later apply this education in aiding long-term progress for vulnerable populations (specifically QT* folk and those affected by the prison industrial complex) through social work and/or therapy. In the rare moments Kate’s not studying or in class, you can find them reading, plant parenting, or watching horror movies. As a WGSE volunteer, Kate is interested in creating a safe, empowering, and informative campus for students of marginalized genders and identities.
